The Fan Art Gallery!

RULES FOR SUBMISSION TO FANART GALLERY

#1. DO NOT email me files or images.

The only exception to this is if I specifically give you permission to do so. My email address that I normally use cannot accept large files and will crash causing me to loose all of my mail. This will not make me HAPPY. So, be smart and don't email me your fanart. I have a special address that I have fanart sent to. Once you email me at amajor@muse.calarts.edu with your request to be added I will give you the email address to mail your files to, if we decide to add you.

#2. No Spooge.

That means all your Gargoyles art should be G, PG-13 at the most. No adult artwork will be accepted. I reserve the right to determine whether a peice of art is "adult" or not. Please respect that this is not to be mean, but an attempt to keep this site accessable for all ages in the same way the Gargoyles show was accessable for all ages.

#3. No modified screenshots.

It seems to be popular amoung some Gargoyles artists to take a screenshot or a still from the show and color over it to create their own character so to speak. That's fine if you want to do that, but we will not accept this kind of artwork for display here. Please, draw your own images, don't trace. Be original. Please don't misunderstand, it's perfectly alright to draw Goliath and the gang, just not if you trace them from a screenshot. Thanx.

#4. Lastly...

I reserve the right to refuse gallery space for any reason. (I rarely do. :)

SENDING ARTWORK

Please realize that updating or adding you to the gallery may take some time as there are alot of artists and images to be added.

Descriptions:
When sending your artwork (make sure you have permission!) make sure you include a SHORT description of each image.

 Formats:
Please remember that all images must be in either JPG or GIF format as these are the only image formats supported on the web.  I don't have time to convert all the images to the proper format.

 File Size:
Try to keep your image sizes under 200 k if possible.  Anything over that takes a very long time to load and people may leave your gallery before they see your artwork becuase of the long download time!  Usually a good size for an image is about 80 k. (72 dpi)

HOW TO GET YOUR GALLERY FAST:
One way to get your gallery updated FAST is to do the html and/or the thumbnails for your gallery.  Take one of the html pages like :  danzeth.html   and then change everywhere it says "danzeth" to your username on Avalon. (then replace each image with your own image name).  If you aren't sure how to do this feel free to email me and I'll help you out with it.  If you don't know html, then don't worry about it.  Usually the wait time for me to update a gallery isn't very long.
