The alarm buzzed with enthusiasm -- something the sleeper decidedly lacked. There was a groan as he shifted, and scraped his face with his hand. Surely enough, this was followed by a thud and a loud voice as the lights in the room came on. "UP AND AT 'EM!" Cadence groaned. "I'm movin'... I'm movin'..." Alexa laughed. "And you talk about being the morning person." "Hmph... so I slept in." "Com'n bright eyes, we're leaving in an hour." "Nuts! I gotta shower." "Phew, got that right! Crys's in there right now." "I call next." "Aury's got second." Cadence glanced at his younger sister in the doorway. "Should I just skip the shower?" "No way! Aury won't take long." ...and with that Alexa left the room and went down the hall. Cadence opened the drapes at the end of the room, and was blasted with the stream of morning sunlight that hit him. Taking in a deep breath, he just stood and absorbed the sunlight as though it would help him wake up.
