"Alone Again" By: Jennifer L. Anderson DemonaCrzy@aol.com A short thanks to all my friends for their support and encouragement. Especially to Goliath (Nick) this story is for you buddy. Just a note to say that the Gargoyles do not not belong to me, they are the property of Disney and Buena Vista. Thank them for the characters here. They created them... they own them... I just play with them once in awhile. WARNING!: Mature readers only! Sexual Content. This takes place before the Avalon quest and before The Mirror. ******** It was time again. She could feel the stone around her crack, the magic of stone sleep once again coming to an end. As it had done every evening for over 1000 years. With a roar and a long, lean stretch of her muscles she freed herself from the rejuvinating stone. She looked out at the city from the balcony of her mansion. It was so cold, so lonely and so full of humans. She snarled as she watched a mercedes drive by with a yuppie couple that she could swear that she had seen before. The demon turned in disgust and went into her bedroom. She had it all once. Power, loyalty, family, love..... She cringed at the thought. She walked to the mirror on the far wall. She examined herself carefully, looking into the eyes of the only friend she had. "Alone...." She muttered. Her hand touched the cold glass. "So very alone." Her own ears were the only ones to hear her footsteps on the stairs, they echoed though the mostly empty house. Upon entering the den she looked at the huge oak desk that faced the door. She walked around behind it and sat in the large leather chair and picked up a pen. Her eyes looked at her plans before her. Titania's Mirror. It would be easy to get from those human scum. They had no clue as to what powers it held. It was much better off with her anyway. She pushed those plans aside and layed her head on the desk. Her blood red hair falling around the sharp features of her face. As she looked up from the desk her tears began to run down her face. She touched the tiara of gold that sat upon her brow and remembered back to when Goliath had given it to her as a joke. 'A halo for his Angel.' She laughed to herself. She could stand the pain no more. "I need him." She said aloud to the empty room. She sat silently for a moment. Her taloned hand picked up a fresh piece of paper and her pen began to write. My love: I was sitting here tonight thinking about you. As my mind drifted further and further into the past, it came across a memory that I had tried to forget. It made it so hard to hate you whenever I remembered the times that we shared before the fall of Wyvern. The sun had just set as I walked the stairs of the tower. You were standing there, silhouetted by the last faint remains of sunlight with your wings cloaked over your shoulders. The wind pulled at your hair and wings. I walked up behind you and ran a single talon across the top of your wings and down your back. You did not look at me. You simply closed your eyes and let a soft rumble come from your throat. "My angel..." you whispered low. Your voice made the hair stand up on the back of my neck and sent chills down my spine. You turned toward me and lifted my chin with your hand. Your eyes looked deep into mine. It was as if you willed to see my thoughts. I decided to let you know what I was thinking in other ways. I wrapped my tail around your ankle and stepped toward you. I ran my hands across your chest and around your back. I found your mouth with mine and kissed you softly once then again deeply. I let my hands caress the space between your wings and tail and wrapped my wings around you. You followed my lead well. Perhaps you had been thinking about the same thing. Wrapping me up in your wings you pulled my body up against yours and fell deeper into my kiss. I began to move my hands over the back of your thighs and, moving your loin cloth aside, up around the base of your tail. One massive clawed hand found my breast and began to gently caress it as the other pulled my hips into yours as your tail wrapped up with mine. I could feel your excitement as I leaned against you. I pulled away from the embrace and turned toward the night sky. Standing on the low wall of the tower, I took one last look at you from over my shoulder. I smiled and leapt into the air. I didn’t have to look over my shoulder to know that you were giving chase, but I looked anyway. I could have escaped if that had been my goal but I would glide straight ahead, giving your massive wings the speed advantage that they needed. Finally, I felt your hands on my hips as you glided above me. I collapsed my wings and let yours take over the flight. You wrapped your tail around my waist and I turned my body to face you. Your eyes glowed as I kissed and nibbled your neck. I wrapped my legs around your waist and rubbed our bodies together. I worked our loin cloths aside and teased you with the prospect of filling me with your swollen maleness. You began a deep throaty growl and your eyes grew brighter, lighting what little space was between us. Just as I was about to let you enter me you folded your wings and dove for the ground, at the last minute you pulled up and the force of that act plunged you deep inside me. We both moaned in unison at the friction created. We worked ourselves into a frenzy of love and sex and as we both reached our goal of satisfying the other, we held on tight and our combined roar of ecstasy echoed into the night. We landed on a soft grassy patch and collapsed. My legs could not hold my weight and I was still trembling from our flight. We lay beside each other silently for an undetermined amount of time. Then you sat up and leaned over me. "We are one, always." was all you said before you began to kiss me again. When we returned to the castle, it was almost dawn. We embraced one last time. As you turned to face the dawn I thought about telling you. I knew then. I don’t know how, but I knew. It would be several more weeks before I would be certain that I was pregnant but somehow...I knew. I held my tongue for now and warmth filled me as the sun rose and we stood in stone. My dreams that day were filled with visions of our child. Unlike our Clan’s tradition of raising the hatchlings as a together. We would know our child and it would know us. This night haunts me to this day. I remember it so clearly. I hope you remember it as I do. We loved each other so deeply then and I would never change that. Well, My Love. I hope this brings back the memories of happiness that we shared. For our clan to continue here in New York you will need me....We will need each other. I realize that now. Talk to you soon... Your Angel of the Night She stared at the paper. Thinking again of the child they never got to hold. Her heart dropped. The humans had taken the eggs. Then it hit her. Because Goliath told them to take the eggs!! The Magus' story came back to her. The coward did not want to take care of the rookery himself! He let the HUMANS take the eggs! Her eyes flashed red she stood and tossed the huge oak desk across the room. She screamed out to the silence. "Goliath! It is all your fault!" She dropped to her knees and sobbed covering her head with her wings. Softly she repeated. "It's all your fault. Our child, the clan, gone! Destoyed because you placed the humans lives above ours!" Moments passed and she finally stood up. She wiped away a tear and picked the desk up. As she bent down to pick up the blue prints to the museum, she picked up the letter she had just written. With a snarl she shredded it and tossed it into the cold fireplace. She reached up and grabbed the tiara off her head. Wrapping her leathal blue talons around it to crush it, she paused. Looking to the reflection of herself in the polished gold. Looking into the eyes of her only friend. With a sigh she placed it back on her brow and sat again to look at the plans on her desk. The End?
