Comments: Diehard fans should note that this video is not the "complete" Awakenings. Awakenings was the pilot episode of Gargoyles BTW. Parts of the 5-part pilot were edited out when it was put onto this "Gargoyles: The Movie" tape. It is nice to have it on tape however, even if incomplete. If you want the complete Awakenings, you'll have to record it off the television for yourself. A good reason to buy this tape besides the obvious (having a good quality tape of Awakenings) is that it has a pretty nifty "video-interactive" game. Basically this is a board game where the video tells you what cards to pick up next. The neatest thing about this is that while you play, the video displays the awesome backgrounds from the series, that are usually only seen behind the animation. I'd say that's worth it. I wish I could find myself a copy of the German version, its box is much nicer. :P
