Travis Marshall is a television news reporter affiliated with one of the news stations in New York City. He has reported on a number of major events, including David Xanatos's donation of the Eye of Odin to the Metropolitan Museum of Art; gargoyle sightings in Times Square in early 1995; multiple sightings of a werewolf-like creature during October 1995; the aftermath of the city's mass amnesia for an entire night; the birth of Alexander Fox Xanatos; and the revealing of the existence of gargoyles in New York City on the Hunter's Moon.
By October 1996, Marshall had his own news program, NightWatch. Shortly after the gargoyles' existence became public knowledge, Marshall ran several programs focusing on this subject, including one on the "person in the street"'s reaction, where he interviewed the Jogger, Billy's Mom, and Vinnie. The next night, he organized a debate between the pro-gargoyle speaker Lennox MacDuff, and an anti-gargoyle advocate, New York City Assistant District Attorney Margot Yale, which soon degenerated into an argument.
In the Goliath Chronicles, Travis Marshall also reported, on NightWatch, on the kidnapping of Alexander Xanatos.
