Born a farmer's boy he was facially scarred as a boy by a gargoyle. It was then he probably decided to grow up to be an assasin so that he may hunt gargoyles in his spare time. When he was a little over 30, Prince Duncan hired the Hunter, ie him, to kill Lord Findlaech of Moray so that his son MacBeth would never be king. Gillecomgain sucedded in killing Findleach but not young MacBeth. MacBeth was saved by the gargoyle that scarred Gillecomgain as a child. She chose that over slaying her arch rival the Hunter, which as I said is Gillecomgain. Gillecomgain was awarded with the stewardship of Moray, symbolized by the sidgil of Moray amulet your brought back from his assasinating of Findleach, maybe as proof he had to bring back to Duncan to prove his success. A few years later Duncan arranged for Gillecomgain to marry Gruoch. MacBeth wasn't to happy with this since he and Grouch were in love. But alas nothing to be done so the wedding comenced. Later still after hearing a prophecy that MacBeth would be king someday he ordered Gillecomgain to kill MacBeth. Gillecomgain turned it down saying it would bring up uncomfortable quistions about he killed MacBeth's father and who ordered it. After Gillecomgain left, Duncan slyly told MacBeth that Gillecomgain was the Hunter who killed his father conveintly leaving out the part that he, Prince Duncan, ordered it. Naturally MacBeth slew Gillcomgain in revenge with the help of the gargoyle that that scarred Gillecomgain those many years ago.
