Daughter of Goliath and Demona, Angela is a fairly goodnatured gargoyle looking similar in appearance to her mother, but with her father's coloring. She was raised on Avalon by Princess Katharine, the Magus, and Tom. Some of her rookery siblings on the island are Gabriel and Ophelia. (Some fans think that several episodes hinted a deeper relationship between Gabriel and Angela, but nothing is solid). Goliath visited Avalon, helped to defeat the Archmage, and when he left to return to Manhattan, Angela decided to go with him. She doesn't find out until later (from Sevarius) that Goliath and Demona are her parents. After reaching Manhattan, Angela becomes a valuable member of the Manhattan clan. Being raised by humans (Katherine, Magus and Tom), Angela is a little more "modern" in her views. This sometimes causes arguments between her and Goliath who is often very traditional. Despite this however, Angela and Goliath have a very close father-daughter relationship. After avoiding the trio's romantic advances, she eventually chooses Broadway as her "mate". She is heavily wounded in the episode "Hunter's Moon" and it is this event that causes Goliath to go for the hunters' death. She is revived by Elisa's CPR. Despite all of the travestries Demona is responsible for, Angela still cares a great deal for her mother, and hopes that she will eventually come around. |
